This blackout shade works great. It blocks out the light completely, which is exactly what I needed. The fabric feels smooth and looks nice, and the blackout part actually does its job — my room stays dark even during the day.

The cordless design is super easy to use. You just pull it down or push it up and it stops where you want it. No strings or anything to mess with. Installation was simple too, and it fit the window perfectly. Nice quality.

Overall, it’s a solid blackout shade with a clean look and really good light-blocking. I’m happy with it.

We love these blackout roller shades with valance. They feel high-quality, solid, and durable. In my new home, all the windows are customized in such a way that it’s not easy to find perfectly fitting blinds unless I go for custom ones. My bedroom window is slightly wider than this shade, so a bit of sunlight peeks through the sides. I plan to install curtains on each side, which will cover the light during the daytime, so that’s not a big issue for me.I really like the valance — it gives the shade an elevated and sleek look. Installation was super easy overall, but the hardware that came with the shade was not of good quality. The screws broke in the middle of installation, which was disappointing and made the process take longer than expected.Other than that, the shade works well and looks beautiful once installed. If you install on the right size windows, I am sure they will give the complete black out feel.

Absolutely Perfect Cordless Blackout Blind!
I am seriously impressed with this cordless blackout blind. I bought it hoping to finally darken my media room completely, and it absolutely delivers. It arrived quickly and the quality is immediately noticeable—the material is thick and feels durable, not flimsy at all, and the white color I chose looks incredibly clean and sharp against the trim. Installing it was surprisingly easy, honestly. I had it mounted and fully operational in under 20 minutes; all the hardware was included, and the mechanism just clicked securely into place. The cordless feature is smooth and reliable, which is a huge bonus for both safety and daily use—you just push or pull lightly on the bottom rail and it glides perfectly into position. Most importantly, when this thing is down, it creates true, effective blackout darkness, perfect for daytime movie watching or for sleeping in late. It makes a huge difference in blocking out heat, too. If you need a quality, safe, and genuinely effective blackout solution, look no further. Highly recommended!

I'm really happy with this blackout roller shade! The gray color fits perfectly with my room's color scheme, and it looks sleek and modern. Installation was super simple and only took a few minutes.

The shade itself feels well made and operates really smoothly. it glides up and down with barely any effort. Best of all, it truly blocks out light and you can't see through it at all, which is exactly what I was looking for.

One thing to note: the 20''width refers to the entire casing, not the fabric itself. The actual shade material is about 19.25'' wide. It's slightly narrower than my window, but it doesn't bother me. Just something to keep in mind when ordering.

I love this blind. The color is understated smooth and clean, nice. Very lightweight, nice. Very easy to extend and retract (I did it several times), nice.
In fact, because I didn't end up putting it on the brackets but I was able to open and close it easily just holding it with one hand (and I'm a small female) that tells you how lightweight and simple it was, I was just super impressed.

Not so nice?: it has the same kind of giant L brackets set up you have to screw into the walls with multiple screws that low/mid end blinds have had for decades. The blind is so lightweight and easy to operate it would be fabulous to have a different way of mounting it! Even the header components are very lightweight metal (not plastic)... So I thought I would use a cool magnet bar, Unfortunately it must be aluminum because it is not the kind of metal that magnets stick to.

I want(ed) a bunch of these if I can make it easy to mount and or even move around as desired without so much permanency. Plus I could do the van and the RV if they had some different/ smoother mounting options.

They're very nice if you're good with putting up the brackets.
